Dear colleagues and reviewers,
The “password” is the same as your full e‑mail address. If you encounter any problem when logging in or receiving a password, please follow the steps below:
-
First go to the site’s login page (http://journals.ut.ac.ir/jour.ui/page/index.html) and click on “Forgot password?”. Enter the same e‑mail address you use for the system.
-
At this stage a message will inform you that a new password has been generated for you and that an e‑mail will be sent. To activate the password, open the e‑mail and click the link provided. If the link is not active, copy the entire URL and paste it into your browser’s address bar. You will then see a message confirming the allocation of a new password, which will also be sent to your e‑mail. After checking your e‑mail you will have the new password.
Please keep the following points in mind when reviewing manuscripts:
-
Log in to the journal system with your username and password, then select “Reviewer” from the top‑right menu.
-
You will see the submitted manuscripts listed in a table. If you wish to review a paper, click on its title link to open the review page.
-
On that page, download the manuscript file to your computer.
-
To make corrections in the text, use the Track Changes feature in Microsoft Word. In Word 2003, open the manuscript, then choose Tools → Track Changes to activate it.
-
After editing, save the manuscript. Any questions or notes can be inserted using the Comment feature in the document.
-
To submit your review, go to your Dashboard in the system, click the relevant manuscript, and on the opened page select the appropriate option (accept, minor revision, major revision, etc.). Attach the reviewed manuscript file and then submit.
Note on preserving reviewer anonymity:
-
Open the manuscript file, go to Tools → Options → Security → Privacy Options, and check “Remove Personal Information from file.”
-
Save the file. Apply any desired changes using Track Changes, then save again.
Dear reviewer, as long as the manuscript remains in the system, you can still comment and review it. Therefore, please complete your review as soon as possible after the review deadline expires.
